Dietary Lipids that cause Cancer

Exordium on Cancer
‘Dietary lipids’ always casts a considerable amount of effect over health and it has several consequences on one’s physiological aspects. It has quite a few advantages but among the downsides ‘breast cancer’ ranks pretty well. Polyunsaturated fatty acids, some of the saturated fatty acids are the primary dietary lipids that initialize cancerous growth on prolonged intake. There are certain types of ‘trans fat’ too, which contributes to the aggravation of the disease. A study by the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) shows that the risk of the disease can be contained by half, if positive dietary habits are practiced. Lots of fruits, green vegetables, fish, and many such elements of a diet can contain this terrible disease.
The profligacy of the dietary intake has become a utopian concept. There are several diseases which are intimately connected with the wrong dietary habits and sometimes its abuse. It is a well-known fact that the fat in consumption of the people is basically a pre-cursor of many a disease, cancer being one of the deadliest! The fatty acids which are serious concerns in this regard are the n-6 PUFA, and several other polyunsaturated ones. It has been almost 50 years that the menace of this virus has been felt among the classes of society which is still under tremendous pressure to defeat it. There are many types of cancer such as colorectal, pancreatic, lung, blood, and many such. Among the various forms of cancer, the breast cancer is an area of concern, specifically when it can only affect a human female. Every cancer type is fatal in every stage since there is no permanent medication available for the treatment. So, it is important to take ‘preventions rather than waiting for the cure’. The different dietary charts followed by the people determine the chances of the disease because; for e.g. if somebody has colorectal cancer then the diet he used to consume would probably be rich in red meat, and other forms of meat.
Testicular Cancer
What is Cancer, in short?
In one sentence, the uncontrolled growth and development of cells of the body is called cancer. But it is not that simple as sound, because there are other several factors which are responsible for the situation described above. It has to be realized that the body cells grow as a natural process through different stages of life but the abnormality starts when the cells of a particular area starts increasing in size without abiding by the laws of biology. The lipids such as the saturated, unsaturated ones have to be consumed aptly to show resistance. The saturated fat, PUFA, unsaturated fatty acids in some cases shows increased chance of the disease.
The World Cancer Report shows a telling fact; it says that within 2020 there will be a rise in the number of cancer patients by 50% as it is now. The number of cases coming out of mere smoking habits shall be the most common ones. This is another aspect of cancer, and a widespread one which champions the smoking habit as a ‘smart move’ but does not care to take significant action to resist the ‘poisonous habit’.
Some lipids causes severity in Cancerous condition

Lipids are basically a class of compounds which is water-insoluble and includes fats, sterols, triglycerides, mono-glycerides and many such elements. The fats and oil are the basic dietary lipids because these are the compounds which form the lion’s share of dietary constituents all over the planet. Solid lipids are called ‘fats’, the liquid ones are known as ‘oils’ measured in room temperature but their internal structure consist of a complex interconnected chains of fatty acids. There are various kinds of dietary lipids depending upon the saturation or un-saturation and the incidence of breast cancer depends a lot on the intake of these fatty acids or lipids.
The lipids which are harmful and lead to severe diseases are many in number, but the intensity of cancer causing lipids such as Poly-unsaturated lipids, n-6 lipids; arachidonic fatty acids are pretty distressing. The accumulation of fat through the lipids which are circulated through the blood stream facilitates the growth of unnecessary cell parts. The carcinogens flowing in the air, dust, smoke and such only exacerbate the situation. The extra fat which is insoluble combines with the blood to form bigger particles and travel through the blood stream. The abnormality of the cells are normally picked up much later than the ‘appropriate time’ so the virus gets time to alter the normal functioning of a tissue through cell division. The physical exercises must be performed to avoid such accumulation of fat in your body since it has been revealed that the increase in fat leads to increased chance of cancer. It is also important to mention that all dietary lipids do not cause cancer; it is the nature of some fatty acids to show that character.
Case Study: Japan
The Asian countries are comparatively much less affected by Cancer. The malady of cancer results from a host of sources and faulty diet of different countries are pre-cursors of cancer incidence. Almost 323,290 people die of cancer in Japan every year, though this staggering number is nothing compared to the numbers of United States of America which will be discussed later. The diet irregularities like junk foods, alcohol abuse, fat prone chips, fat prone cold drinks, butter, meat, red meat and many such elements are harmful for the body. These food habits are much pronounced in USA and other European countries rather than in Asian countries like Japan.
The Japanese government have taken strict measures to reduce the erratic lifestyle of the people in the country and helped a lot in improving the situation. The Health Ministry found research found out that the number of deaths in Japan by Cancer is the largest, heart diseases being the second. In fact, USA and Japan are the 2 countries with most incident cases of cancer. There are several factors which leads to lower risk of cancer in Japanese people which are as follows:-
1. Lower intake of fatty foods stuff
2. Lower use of carcinogens in cigarettes.
3. Higher use of filters in the cigarettes.
4. There is genetic superiority than the USA people in some cases.
5. The Japanese men experience smoking incidence at a much higher age than the USA men.
6. The alcohol consumption in USA is rampant and it assists in the incidence of the disease.
The factors leading to the less incidence of cancer, especially lung cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and other types have been developed among these people upon years of habitual reasons and genetic constitution. The erratic, professional lives of the corporate are much less stressful in Japan with all other western counterparts having greater stress. A healthy diet, proper lifestyle, proper food habits can bring the joy forever by brushing this malady off the society. Not only the adults, the future of the upcoming generation must be secured and the imbibitions of the ‘good’ habits should be parents’ first priority among their children. The major types encountered in Japan are lung cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer, pancreatic, and liver cancer. The severity issues are the same as USA, but the curable probability is much more.
